Post 4: What's like to study social work?

 


Hello again I study social work in the faculty of social sciences of the University of Chile, I chose this career because I am deeply interested in understanding the complexity of society, taking into account the inequalities in this, and I am very excited to have a vision of social struggle, in which as a social worker you are very committed to change, and with justice in addition to understanding a notion of how it is possible to intervene in such injustices.

Unfortunately because of the Pandemic since last year online study, and I find it difficult to understand all the concepts that my career addresses, since some texts are very complicated, and not being in a room face to face with your teacher in order to make him see your doubts it is very difficult for me to have optimal learning.

I really hope that this will get better every day and that we can overcome this pandemic to return to face-to-face classes and have a normal university life

  Hello again, if you asked me what the best vacations of my life have been, I would say that so far none unfortunately. With my family we always go south exactly to La Viñita, a town that is close to Chillán, and I am not lying when I say that we always go to the same place, since my grandmother has a house there. When we go we have a great time because the whole family always goes, we enjoy the place, we go to the river to bathe or to the Coihueco square at night since it is very nice there, they decorate with lights, put stalls to buy food, games, etc. I hope that when I become independent I can visit other places that I have in mind, since there is still a long way to go, unfortunately it is a tradition year after year to go to the same place, I want to clarify that I really like La Viñita, only that I would also like to know other places that interest me.

Post 3: Let's talk about the pandemic

  Hello again, as we all know the fight against the pandemic by Coronavirus is not yet over, in fact we are at a time when you do not have to lower your arms and take care of yourself equally or more than before, this situation has brought various problems, for example, unemployment, low wage income, online classes and high signs of bad mental health (this for confinement) among others. Post 5: My future Job

  Hello again, I have always thought that if I could choose what job to have I would like this to be in two ways; outdoors and also in office, they alternate these two ways . I would like to have a job in which I can perform all my abilities and abilities and in this way be a self-sufficient and happy person. If I could choose yes, I wish I could travel for my work but not so often. I don't specialize in anything yet, but when the time comes to do so I would like to specialize in intervention, specifically in the children's area, that I would love although there is always the possibility of changing my mind. As for salary I would like it to be in line with my career, I don't aspire to millions of the truth, but I also don't think I should make less than $500,000, of course the salary varies by job and experience so we'd better see when it comes time to perform professionally.
